Last week: The RedHawks (4-4 overall, 3-1 MAC) defeated rival Ohio University, 23-20, in the 89th Battle of the Bricks Saturday afternoon at Yager Stadium. Wes Williams sacked OU quarterback Tyler Tettleton on the final play of the game, as Miami beat its first ranked opponent since 2010 (FULL STORY). This week: The 'Hawks travel to play Buffalo Saturday, Nov. 3 at noon. The Bulls are 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the MAC.
Last week: The 3rd-ranked RedHawks (4-1-1 overall) split a pair of road games against No. 6 Michigan. On Friday, Miami fell to the Wolverines, 4-2, in its CCHA opener (FULL STORY). MU, however, responded on Saturday with a 4-3 comeback win. The 'Hawks scored three third-period goals, as Austin Czarnik netted the game winner (FULL STORY). This week: Miami travels to play another pair of weekend road contests. The RedHawks face off against No. 18 Ferris State Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3 at Ewigleben Ice Arena in a two-game CCHA series. Both games are set for 7:05 p.m.
Last week: The Miami women's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 1-1 tie against visiting Ball State on Thursday. The victory helped the 'Hawks finish undefeated in MAC play with a 10-0-1 record (FULL STORY). On Sunday, top-seeded MU opened MAC Tournament play with a 1-0 win over rival and 8th-seeded Ohio University in the quarterfinal round (FULL STORY). This week: Miami advances to play Kent State in the MAC Tournament semifinals at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 at Miami Soccer Field.
This week: The RedHawks begin the 2012-13 season with a home exhibition game against Mayville Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. Come see first-year head coach John Cooper's debut with Miami at Millet Hall. Last week: The RedHawks won a share of the Mid-American Conference Championship with a 3-1 victory over Ohio on Saturday. It was the second time in the last three seasons that Miami has earned a share of the MAC title. Miami improved to 10-9 overall and finished 4-1 in the MAC (FULL STORY). This week: Top-seeded MU begins the MAC Tournament hosting rival No. 4 Ohio University Friday, Nov. 2 at noon.
Last week: Miami split a pair of road matches against rival Ohio University and Kent State. The RedHawks lost to the Bobcats, 3-1, on Friday (FULL STORY), but came back and beat the Golden Flashes, 3-1, Saturday night (FULL STORY). The RedHawks have won four of their past five matches. This week: MU hosts Akron Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m., before hosting Buffalo Saturday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
Men's Cross Country
Last week: With three runners finishing in the top 10 and earning All-MAC honors, the Miami University men's cross country team tied for third Saturday at the 2012 Mid-American Championships, hosted by the University at Buffalo at a cold and rainy Beaver Island State Park (FULL STORY). Coming up: Miami travels to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship Friday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m.

Last week: Placing four runners in the top 20, the Miami University women's cross country team earned a second-place finish Saturday morning at the 2012 Mid-American Conference Championships, hosted by the University at Buffalo at a cold and rainy Beaver Island State Park (FULL STORY). Coming up: Miami travels to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship Friday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m.
Men's Swimming & Diving
Last week: Purdue handed Miami's men's swimming team its first loss of the season Saturday, 192-103, at the Corwin Nixon Aquatic Center (FULL STORY). This week: The RedHawks host Cleveland State Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m.
Women's Swimming & Diving
Last week: A solid performance by Miami's women's swimming team helped the RedHawks defeat visiting Evansville, 148-85, in action at the Nixon Aquatic Center (FULL STORY). This week: The RedHawks host Bowling Green Friday, Nov. 2 at 4 p.m.
Last week: The Miami University men's golf team shot a final round score of 10-over par 294 on Tuesday to finish the Georgetown Intercollegiate in 10th place at 38-over par. Toledo won the tournament with a score of 11-over par (FULL STORY). Coming up: The 2012-13 season resumes Feb. 11-12 when the RedHawks travel to Dade City, Fla. for the second annual Mid-American Match Play.
This week: The RedHawks' synchronized skating team opens their 2012-13 season, performing in the Parents Weekend Exhibition Saturday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Goggin Ice Arena.
