WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Junior Christiana Raymond and sophomore Christine Guerrazzi provided the highlights on Day 3 of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional on Saturday, winning a pair of matches to advance to the consolation round final. In the singles consolation bracket, Raymond won a match and had a walkover match to reach the quarterfinals.

On Saturday morning, Guerrazzi and Raymond defeated Eastern Kentucky's Melissa Gerritsen and Kristina Labeja 8-3, then posted an 8-6 win over Jasmine Lee and Ashleigh Witte of Cincinnati in the afternoon. That score was closer, 8-6. They will play the winner of a a Sunday morning semifinal between teams from Memphis and Purdue in Sunday's 5:30 p.m. final.

In between doubles matches, Raymond won her first consolation singles match, 6-3, 7-5 over Alexa Flynn of Chattanooga, then got a walkover against Amandine Faouzi. She will face Skylar Kuykendall of Memphis tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.

Miami's three first-round winners in the main singles draw were each eliminated on Saturday. Alix Thurman was the only player to advance to the round of 16, winning her second round match against Nayara Moraes of Middle Tennessee 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. She lost to Tiffany Welcher of Memphis 6-1, 6-2 later in the day. Guerrazzi fell to Julia Fellerhoff of Louisville 6-4, 6-1, while Nimisha Mohan dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision to Tennessee's Kata Szekely.
