BEALLSVILLE, Md. - The Miami University golf team is traveling to just outside the nation's capital for its final tournament of the fall. The RedHawks will participate in the Georgetown Intercollegiate, Oct. 22-23 at the Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md. Miami will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by one final round of 18 holes on Tuesday.

Representing the RedHawks at the Georgetown Intercollegiate will be seniors Brett Tomfohrde and Ben Peacock, redshirt junior Mark MacDonald, junior Austin Kelly and freshman Daniel Schwarz. They will be a part of a 12-team field that will feature Mid-American Conference rivals Eastern Michigan and Toledo. In addition to host Georgetown, also participating are DePaul, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Saint Joseph's, West Florida, William & Mary and Xavier.

"The Members Club at Four Streams is a fantastic golf course, long and laid out similar to what you'll find in the Midwest," said head coach Zac Zedrick. "It's something that a lot of the boys have seen and are very comfortable playing. Couple that with some past success we've had at this tournament and we're excited to have this as our final event of the fall."
