Miami RedHawks (3-2 overall, 2-0 MAC)

vs. Cincinnati Bearcats (3-0 overall)

QUICK HITS

As a team, Miami has been penalized only 29.6 yards per game thus far in 2012, the sixth-fewest by NCAA FBS teams.

Zac Dysert, the MAC East Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week, set school records for touchdown passes (six) and total offense (624) in a 56-49 victory over Akron. The senior threw for 516 yards, second-most in Miami history, while adding a career-best 108 yards rushing, becoming the first player in NCAA FBS history to pass for 500 yards and rush for 100 yards.

Linebacker Chris Wade has led the RedHawks in tackles in each of the last four games. He is Miami's top tackler in 2012 and ranks tied for sixth in tackles among MAC players with 51. Coming into the 2012 season, Wade had accounted for only 12 total stops during his career.

In the last two weeks, Miami has registered 22 plays of 20 yards or more. Fourteen of those came against Akron, with Zac Dysert accounting for 12 of those (two rushing, 10 passing). Dysert's 40-yard run in the third quarter is the longest by a RedHawk this season.

Saturday's meeting is the 117th edition of The Battle for the Victory Bell, with Miami holding a 59-50-7 advantage. The series ranks fifth among FBS rivalries, although three of the top four are inactive in 2012 due to conference realigment.
