OXFORD, Ohio - With the 2012-13 Miami hockey season exactly 26 days away, the Miami Athletic Department has announced that single-game hockey tickets will go on sale this week. As a special thank you to active members, tickets will first be available to Red & White Club members on Wednesday, Sept. 12 while single-game tickets will be open to the general public the following day on Thursday, Sept. 13, should tickets still remain. With the Miami Athletic Ticket Office's new hours, tickets will be offered beginning at 10 a.m. ET both days.
Red & White Club members are encouraged to purchase their single-game tickets online here, but phone orders and walk-up traffic will also be accommodated. For the general public, tickets will only be available for purchase online, like last year. To make for a smoother and quicker ordering process, be sure to check your online account prior to Wednesday to make sure it is up to date, or create a new one in advance of Wednesday, if needed.
Those looking to donate to the Red & White Club to be able to purchase tickets a day earlier can do so by clicking here, creating an account and clicking the donations tab and "Donate Now". By supporting the Red & White Club, fans are helping Miami Athletics' annual scholarship needs and making a difference in the lives of Miami's student-athletes.
Reserved seats will only be available as supplies last. Some standing room only tickets will be available both days, however, to ensure all fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets when they go on sale to the public.
Due to a limited number of reserved seat single-game tickets, both Red & White Club members and the general public may only buy tickets for up to three games during the season and may only reserve four tickets per game to allow more fans to enjoy the Miami Hockey experience, as was the case last year. Fans that purchase reserved tickets to more than three regular-season games through the Athletic Ticket Office will have their orders for the number of games beyond the allotted three deleted without notice.
Standing room only tickets will also be sold through the Athletic Ticket Office website and can be purchased for an unlimited number of games during the year. Due to a lack of ticket supply however, it is possible that standing room tickets may only be available for certain home dates.
Reserved seat ticket prices for most regular-season games are $22 for adults and $17 for youth (under 18) while standing room only tickets during the regular season are $17 each as well. However, reserved tickets for games against Michigan State (Nov. 16-17), Notre Dame (Feb. 15) and Ohio State (Mar. 1-2) are $25 each, while youth tickets and standing room only tickets are $19 each for those series'. Tickets for Miami's exhibition game against Western Ontario on Sunday, Oct. 7 are only $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
For Red & White Club members looking to purchase tickets by phone or for questions about purchasing tickets online, please contact the Miami Athletic Ticket Office at 513-529-HAWK (4295) or 1-866-MUHAWKS (684-2957). Non Red & White Club members who call in or walk up to the Miami Athletic Ticket Office to purchase tickets will be helped with the online purchasing process but all online orders will be processed in the order they are received.
