OXFORD, Ohio -- Athlon Sports recently released its 2012 Mid-American Conference Preview and the Miami RedHawks found themselves mentioned in numerous areas.
As a team, the RedHawks were picked to finish fourth in the MAC East in 2012.
Three RedHawks were selected to the 2012 Athlon Sports Preseason All-MAC Team: junior wide receiver NICK HARWELL (Missouri City, TX), junior cornerback DAYONNE NUNLEY (Monroeville, PA) and senior defensive lineman AUSTIN BROWN (Woodbridge, VA).
Athlon Sports places Miami atop the list of best recruiting classes in the MAC. That number one overall ranking includes: the first overall MAC recruit, tight end ORLANDO DAVID (Miami, FL); the third overall recruit, defensive lineman DAVID DELEON (Bamberg, SC), and the ninth overall recruit, offensive lineman TERRY DAVIS (Cincinnati).
The magazine included a Fantasy Football section which listed Harwell as NCAA football's 21st overall player, including a No. 4 ranking among wide receivers, and ZAC DYSERT (Ada) as the 26th best quarterback.
