The Miami University Athletics Department has announced two new conveniences for fans, available immediately. Starting today (Nov. 18) fans will have the ability to print tickets from home and have the ability to use the Ticket Advance system to help share unused tickets.

“We are excited about these added conveniences for our fans,” said Alex Weikel, Director of Ticket Operations. “We strive to give our fans the best customer service possible and convenience is a big part of customer service.”

Printing at home is available for all football, men’s and women’s basketball and hockey games. Printing tickets from home gives fans the opportunity to avoid Will Call lines or waiting for tickets to arrive through the mail.

* When printing from home please use white paper and regular ink (economy ink will not work with the scanning system).

The Ticket Advance system will allow fans to give their tickets to friends and family without having to arrange a physical meeting between the two parties. To take advantage of this opportunity fans must login to their online Miami Athletics account and create a Ticket Advance Claim Check number that can be emailed to anyone. The person receiving the tickets will have to create an account to receive the tickets, but does not have to have an account in advance.

“Ticket Advance will be especially helpful for hockey to make sure we are maximizing capacity every night,” said Weikel. “Fans can easily transfer their tickets to other fans even minutes before game time, if something comes up last minute and they aren’t able to attend.”
