OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women’s basketball team is looking for both managers and male practice players for the 2014-15 season. Here are some more details as to what each position entails.


This opportunity would give a deep insight of the work that is performed in a Division I basketball program. The managers will focus on the administrative form of: social media, live game production, scouting, promotions, marketing, recruiting, and coaching. Students will gain experience and knowledge by learning from our players and staff. At the same time managers will be able to make an impression within the winningest athletic program in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). This would be the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in a pursuing a career within sports and a MAJOR resume builder. The selected students will go through training and be present at the basketball offices, practice, and games. We need you in order to be successful.

Male Practice Players:

Do you love the game of basketball? Did you play in high school? Do you like to stay in shape? Do you want to play basketball in Millett Hall and the other athletic facilities? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you need to think about becoming a practice player! You will be involved with practices, earn official team gear, and act as the opponent scouting team. We need you in order to be successful.
