OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University Athletics is pleased to announce Jackie Sprague as its new in-game host for home football games.

Starting this Saturday, when Marshall visits Oxford for a White Out, Sprague will be handling in-game promotions, interviews and other contests. She will be at all six home games this season – and will be giving away items for FREE.

A 2006 Miami graduate, Sprague earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications. While an undergraduate, she was known as "Stat Girl" on the WMSR radio show "The Sports Reporters". She also did some sideline reporting. In addition, she was a member of a sorority and a national communications honorary. After graduation, Sprague worked in television news and sports as a reporter and anchor. She worked for TV stations in Zanesville, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and Lexington.

Spraque is a Cincinnati native and cheers for the Reds, the Bengals and, of course, the Miami RedHawks!

In addition to Sprague, here are some other in-game enhancements for 2014 Miami Football:
-Swoop’s FanFEST: Located in behind the South end zone, this area will have games for all ages.
-Social Media Integration: We will be live tweeting, among other things, on game day. This will include posts from the Red Zone, the End Zone and in the stands.
-Fan and Dance Cams: Be ready to stand up, dance and cheer as Miami Athletics is incorporating the popular Fan and Dance cams into gameday.
In addition, Miami Athletics has also upgraded sound and video systems to enhance the in-game experience.

To join in on the fun, purchase tickets from the Miami Athletic Ticket Office by calling (513) 529-4295 or ordering online.
