FINDLAY, Ohio – The Amateur Softball Association and USA Softball announced Tuesday that it has put together a College All-Star team to play an exhibition game against the USA National Team on June 17. Selected to the All-Star team from Miami are rising junior outfielder Taylor Shuey and rising junior designated player/pitcher Jenna Modic.
The game will take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17 at Marathon Diamonds at the Cube in Findlay, Ohio. Tickets are $10.
Modic and Shuey are both coming off Second Team All-MAC selections. Modic appeared in 26 games in relief this season, finishing with a 1-2 record and a 3.33 ERA. She hit .294 and had six home runs and 23 RBI. Shuey led the RedHawks with a .323 batting average and 11 RBI.
