After hearing your feedback, the Miami University Athletics department has announced new and improved changes around Yager Stadium for the 2014 season, including an upgraded tailgate area, better in-game/fan experience, a variety of ticket options and an outstanding student experience for all six home games this season.

Enhancements are scheduled to take place prior to the home opener versus Marshall on Aug. 30. Below are improvements for each specific area.

Tailgate Area
· The West Millett parking lot will be the new home of the tailgate area. Help us name the area by clicking HERE.
· At least 100 parking spaces will be available for those looking to tailgate prior to each home contest.
· Recreational Vehicles (RV’s), Red & White Club, corporate sponsors and a student tailgate area will be included.
· The student tailgate area will include a DJ, food, games, giveaways and grills.
· Tailgate games (cornhole, etc.) will be available for use free of charge inside the tailgate area.
· Food from local vendors and concessions, along with beverages will be available for purchase.
· Prizes will be awarded for the best tailgate party.
· Fans in the tailgate area will have the opportunity to cheer on the football team and band as they walk through West Millett on their way to Yager Stadium prior to the game.

In-Game/Fan Experience
· More interaction through social media and the videoboard. Click HERE for our social media hub.
· A more fan-friendly experience including t-shirt tosses, video highlights, and videoboard enhancements.
· More concession options.
· A fan fun zone for all ages in the south end of Yager Stadium.
· Better directional signage around Yager Stadium.
· Improved price points at the Swoop Shop and Bookstore.

· Miami football will change sidelines in 2014, meaning the student section at Yager Stadium will now be located behind the visiting bench.
