Austin Brown, who played defensive tackle for the RedHawks the past five years, has agreed to terms with the Houston Texans on a free agent deal.

Brown started 10 games in 2013, finishing the season with 37 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss and a sack. The Woodbridge, Va., native had a season-high six tackles versus Central Michigan and Kent State and blocked a field goal versus in-state rival, Cincinnati.

Brown played in 47 games (43 starts) during his RedHawks' career, compiling 167 tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles.
