OXFORD, Ohio—The Miami University Sports Medicine Department will hold its annual golf outing to raise funds for the Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund on Friday, June 6 at Hueston Woods Golf Course.

The event format is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 2 p.m. Cost is $120 per person or $410 for a foursome. There is also a young alumni rate (2010-2014) of $80. The cost includes range balls, green fees and a cart for 18 holes of golf, sandwiches and snacks prior to tee time, on-course beverages at the pavilion, BBQ-style dinner and a t-shirt. Golfers are asked to be at the golf course by 1 p.m. on the day of the outing.

Any individual or business also may sponsor a hole for $100.

All proceeds from the event go towards the Mr. Gale Newton Internship Fund to honor his 30 years of service to Miami University as Head Athletic Trainer.

To register for the outing or sponsor a hole, fill out the attached form and return with a check made payable to Miami University Sports Medicine (memo-Gale Newton Internship Fund) by May 31 to:
