CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Miami University men’s track and field team wrapped up day one of the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, hosted by the University of Cincinnati. Meet action resumes tomorrow morning at Gettler Stadium.

The RedHawks had a quick first day of competition, only competing in one of the four events. Freshman Zubin Coleman finished 13th in the hammer throw with a heave of 43.92m, while teammate Andrew Vollet took 18th with a mark of 39.43m.

Meet action starts up again tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. with the decathlon, followed by the javelin and pole vault at 10 a.m. Track competition begins at 12 p.m. with the 3000m steeplechase, and the invitational concludes at 4:35 p.m. with the 4x400m relay.
