CLEVELAND – Two members of the Miami University volleyball team garnered Academic All-Mid-American Conference with two more receiving honorable mention, the league office announced on Friday.

Junior setter/outside hitter Meg Riley (St. Louis, Mo./Cor Jesu Academy) and redshirt sophomore middle Jenny Ingle (Ludlow Falls, Ohio/Brookville) were both placed on the Academic All-Mac team.

Riley is earning Academic All-MAC honors for the second-straight season. She holds a 3.97 grade-point average while double majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering. The St. Louis, Mo., native has also landed on the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V first team each of the last two seasons. She started all 28 matches for MU and finished second on the team in kills (283), kills per set (2.50), assists (489), assists per set (4.33) and aces (24). Riley also finished the year with 221 digs.

This marks the first time that Ingle is on the Academic All-MAC team. The redshirt sophomore carries a 3.82 GPA as a Kinesiology major. She was the RedHawks’ top weapon this season, hitting a team-best .344 while pacing the team with 296 kills and 2.62 kills per set. Her 96 total blocks also led the team.

Additionally, junior libero Tori Clifford (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) and sophomore outside hitter Annie Reiswig (Truckee, Calif./Truckee) received honorable mention.
