2013-2014: Cashman swam to a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke against Xavier to kick off his RedHawks career before taking seventh in the 100 freestyle. Against Cleveland State, Cashman finished fifth in the 200 medley relay. He had third and fourth-place finishes against Ohio State in the 3x100 backstroke relay and the 800 freestyle relay, respectively. He also took fourth in the 400 freestyle relay against the Buckeyes. He was sixth in the 200 medley relay against Purdue. He added an eighth-place finish in the 50 freestyle and a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay. Cashman took fifth in the 200 medley relay against Cincinnati along with seventh and eighth-place finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, respectively. He took fourth in the 200 freestyle relay. He was eighth in the 100 backstroke, fifth in the 50 freestyle and seventh in the 100 freestyle against Evansville. At Buffalo, Cashman finished seventh in the 200 medley relay, seventh in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 100 freestyle relay. He took seventh against Eastern Michigan in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 400 freestyle relay. He had his best individual finish against Ball State where Cashman took second in the 50 freestyle. He was fourth in the 200 freestyle relay against the Cardinals. 

High School: Swam for Tyler Prose at Dublin Jerome High School… part of a relay team that finished 7th at state in the 200 free relay, participated in the state meet junior and senior year… was All-State and part of a Conference Championship winning team… holds multiple school records… also played football and track where he earned three letters in track… graduated Cum Laude.

Personal: Son of Sean and Susan Cashman… born January 16, 1995… his cousins swam for Ohio State and one ran track for Notre Dame. His aunt ran for Ohio State and his uncle played football and ran track at Florida State… participated in volunteer work… majoring in Geology.
