OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University's 2013 home football schedule includes a September home opener against Cincinnati, Homecoming and Family Weekend games in October, and a pair of nationally televised night games in November, Director of Athletics David Sayler announced today (Mar. 1).

In addition to hosting UC in a White-Out clash on Sept. 21, Miami will host Central Michigan for the popular Family Weekend game on Oct. 5 and Akron on Oct. 19 for its traditional Homecoming Game, which will be a Red-Out. Bowling Green on Nov. 5 and Buffalo on Nov. 19 are both nationally televised mid-week games at Yager Stadium.

The RedHawks' road schedule includes games at Marshall (Aug. 31), at Kentucky (Sept. 7), at Illinois (Sept. 28), at Massachusetts (Oct. 12), at Ohio (Oct. 26), at Kent State (Nov. 13) and at Ball State (Nov. 29).

The Mid-American Conference Championship game will be played at Detroit's Ford Field on Friday, Dec. 6.

"I am excited about our 2013 football schedule, especially our annual rivalry game with Cincinnati for the Battle of The Bell," said Miami Head Coach Don Treadwell.  "We are also looking forward to our nationally televised mid-week   games against our MAC opponents which will provide an opportunity to showcase the University, our football program and the conference as well. The team is also excited to display our talents away from home against BCS foes Illinois and Kentucky."
