  • Junior center Drew McGhee made his first start since the Grambling State game on Nov. 13. It was his second start of the season and the 22nd of his career.
  • McGhee finished with a team-high 13 points, his fourth double-figure scoring effort of the season and only one off his season-high.
  • McGhee tied a career-high with two blocks.
  • Junior forward Will Felder had eight of Miami's first 18 points. He finished with 10 points, his 18th double-figure scoring effort of the season and 14th in his past 15 games.
  • Felder set a Miami career-high with three blocks.
  • Senior center Vince Legarza had five of Miami's nine first-half assists, which tied a career-high that he set at Buffalo on Feb. 25, 2012.
  • Miami shot 63.2 percent from the field in the first half, its best first-half shootingpercentage of the season and the third-best in any half this season. The RedHawks shot 66.7 percent in the second half against UIC on Dec. 22 and 65.2 percent in the second half at Evansville on Dec. 5.
  • Junior guard Quinten Rollins finished with five steals. It was the third time this season he has had five-or-more steals in a game.
