OXFORD, Ohio - After both set career highs on the hardwood last week, junior forward Will Felder and junior guard Hannah Robertson have been named the Miami Athletes of the Week connected by Frontier Communications for the week of Jan. 14-20.

Felder (Cleveland, Ohio) averaged 16.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg and shot 66.7 percent from the field in Miami's two games last week. He set a career high at Miami for points, pouring in 20 in a 63-60 win over Bowling Green on Wednesday. Felder went 10-for-14 from the field against the Falcons, shooting a scorching 71.4 percent from the floor as the RedHawks notched their second-best shooting effort of the season as a team (.549). After trailing most of the game vs. BGSU, Felder hit a jumper with two minutes left to put the RedHawks up for good. He also pulled down seven boards, added two assists and a steal against the Falcons. At Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Felder led the RedHawks with 12 points off 4-of-7 shooting and collected a Miami career-high nine rebounds to lead all players, while also blocking one shot.

The Miami Male Athlete of the Week honor is the first of Felder's career while he is the second straight men's basketball player to pick up the accolade after junior guard Allen Roberts claimed it last week.

Robertson (New Albany, Ohio) showed that she was completely recovered from her recent injury, averaging 17 points in two big Miami wins last week. She tied a career high with 21 points in a 26-point victory over rival Ohio on Thursday. She then followed it up with 13 points against Eastern Michigan on Sunday. Robertson shot 56.5 percent from the field for the week, including an 8-for-11 performance against the Bobcats. She was 5-for-11 from behind the arc in the two games. Robertson had three rebounds against Ohio and followed that up with eight rebounds against EMU, which was only one off her season high. She averaged 5.5 caroms per contest in the two games. Robertson also had four assists and two steals on the week.

The honor is the first of Robertson's career while she was also named Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week on Monday for her efforts. The MAC Player of the Week nod was also the first of her career.

Felder leads the men's basketball team back into action Wednesday when the RedHawks host rival Ohio at 7 p.m. at Millett Hall before welcoming Ball State to Oxford on Saturday. Robertson is back on the court Thursday when the women's basketball team travels to Bowling Green for a MAC matchup before heading to Kent State for a Sunday contest.
