2013: Started and played in 54 of Miami’s 56 games… batted .255 with one home run and 36 RBIs… had 12 extra-base hits (seven doubles, four triples and his home run… walked 12 times for an on-base percentage of .295… his slugging percentage reached .345… has 11 multiple-hit games including a trio on four occasions… his longest hitting streak was seven games (active at season’s end)… enjoyed a 3-for-3 day with a career-best four runs batted in against Eastern Michigan on March 23 (game one)... drove in three runs on three other occasions (vs. North Dakota State, at Northern Illinois on April 28 and vs. Ball State in the MAC Tournament... hit safely in 36 games... stole a base on five of his seven attempts...  led the team with six sacrifice bunts... fielded .952 (seven errors in 147 chances).

2012: Started 49 games, all at third base... made two other appearances as a pinch hitter... batted .276 with 17 RBIs… registered 51 hits in 185 at-bats... 10 of his hits went for extra bases (nine doubles, one triple)... walked 14 times for an on-base percentage of .330... hit safely in 33 contests, with his longest streak reaching five (April 11-18)... recorded 12 multiple-hit games, including a season-high four against Seton Hall on March 4... tallied three hits on four occasions and tw had a season high three RBI against Canisius… had a season high 3 runs against Dayton (4/4) …. is carrying a four hit streak in to the 2013 season. had 95 assists …

2011: Played in eight games, earning two starts at shortstop... batted .222 with three runs batted in... had single hits against Lehigh-1 on March 6 (his collegiate debut) and vs. Xavier on April 13... scored his only run at Kent State on May 1... had two errors in nine chances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters at Downers Grove South, serving as team captain for two seasons... helped the Mustangs to three straight conference championships... they were ranked No. 2 in the state at the end of his senior year... named all-state by all three Chicago-area newspapers as a senior... earned all-area and all conference honors junior and senior years... batterd .495 as a senior and .410 as a junior... a member of the honor roll and an IHSA Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 28, 1992 in Downers Grove, Ill.,... Son of Mike and Kim Walsh... majoring in exercise science... his grandfather played baseball at Michigan.
