Made 10 relief appearances for the Stark Country Terriers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League... went 1-1 with a 5.25 ERA, also earning a save... worked 12.0 innings and had six strikeouts with five walks.

Tied the school's single-season record for pitching appearances with 34, all in relief, along with teammate Sam Dawes, who also made 34 trips to the mound in 2009... the 34 appearances tied with Dawes for the MAC lead as well... did not earn a decision, but recorded a 6.37 ERA and picked up two saves (March 7 vs. Northeastern and May 12 at Marshall)... worked 35.1 innings, firing 25 strikeouts while issuing 13 walks... made first collegiate appearance Feb. 20 at Charleston, tossing 0.2 innings while allowing a run... threw a season-long 3.0 innings March 4 at Cincinnati... hurled a season-high five strikeouts May 16 at Kent State... foes hit .302 against him.
