2012: Has five catches for 78 yards so far this season ... caught three balls for 63 yards against Boise State, includgin a 53 yard catch.

SCOUTING REPORT: Should once again be a valuable wide receiver for Miami in 2012.

2011: Played in 11 games, catching 28 balls for 259 yards ... started in his first career game as a RedHawk at Missouri, making six catches for 55 yards, both of which were season-highs ... also recorded six receptions in the season finale at Ohio ... he made at least one catch in eight games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Bob Hanna, David is a teammate of fellow RedHawk recruit Dawan Scott ... a sure-handed senior, Frazier had 53 receptions for 1066 yards (20.1 ypr) and nine touchdowns, and earned third-team all-state honors ... as a junior, he had 39 catches for 799 yards and nine TDs ... also returned punts and kickoffs ... Frazier has six catches for 107 yards in the South Carolina Shrine Game ... the leading scorer on Irmo's championship basketball team ... in high school, he earned an academic excellence award.

PERSONAL: Born on March 27, 1993 ... the son of David Frazier and Miranda Heyward ... plans to major in sport studies at Miami.

COACH TREADWELL ON DAVID FRAZIER: He's a teammate of (incoming freshman) Dawan Scott. Both of them played in the South Carolina Shrine Game, and it's an established fact that you have to be a great player to get invited to play in that game. David is an explosive type of receiver with the shiftiness that you like to see against a defensive back in an open field. He has a knack for making people miss. David is an excellent return guy as well."
